Newcastle are preparing a massive bid for the Manchester United midfielder amid January loan interest

Newcastle to offer lucrative terms to Lingard
Cash-backed Newcastle United are continuing their attempts to find transfer deals in January as the Magpies seek needed first-team reinforcements and are reportedly ready to make a massive bid for Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
The report comes from 90min Graeme Bailey earlier today and suggests United are more than willing to accept the terms of Newcastle’s proposal. But the question, as always, remains whether Lingard is enthusiastic or not.
Newcastle United are preparing a huge offer for Jesse Lingard.
Man United are likely to accept the approach, but the issue with Lingard has always been whether he wants to move now or wait until the summer.

Any move for the England international would make him the highest-paid player at St. James’ Park, but the united academy graduate is said to not view the move favorably, with the caveat that he would rather see his deal at Old Trafford and go on free in the summer.
It has also been said that Newcastle have inquired about the availability of Dutch international midfielder Donny van de Beek. While neither player can be ruled out of United this month, Chelsea’s Ross Barkley and Tottenham’s Dele Alli are also on the radar as potential leads for a winter move.
The left-back focuses at St. James’ Park
With Kieran Trippier already in the door at Newcastle, the opposite flank in the back four is now primed for new transfer business outside of efforts to improve the makes and models of those on offer in midfield.

The same 90min report cites the Magpies trailing Bayer Leverkusen left-back Mitchel Bakker as well as former Aston Villa first-choice defender Matt Targett.
Bakker arrived at the BayArena in the summer from French giants Paris Saint-Germain and although he is first choice in his role under manager Gerardo Seoane, talks with his side have revealed he would be open to a move to Newcastle.

Targett may also feel the same about his chances of achieving first-choice minutes away from Villa Park again after the club cleverly brought in Lucas Digne from Everton earlier this month. The deal immediately relegated Targett to a back-up role behind the France international, but would surely have a strong chance of entering the Magpies XI ahead of Jamaal Lewis, Paul Dummett and Matt Ritchie.
